Ben Evans, 6th Degree Black Belt and International Instructor in Taekwon-Do, has significantly contributed to the promotion of this Korean Martial Art of Self Defense since 2006. His expertise is deeply rooted in his experiences, having attended international instructor courses led by ITF Technical Director Grand Master Hwang Ho Yong. This global exposure is further enriched by his extensive travels, where he has not only competed but also secured medals in patterns and power breaking at world championships, showcasing his skills on an international stage.

Operating from 115 King Street South, Hastings, Ben is the distinguished founder and president of NZ ITF Taekwon-Do. His innovative Inclusive Taekwon-Do program is a testament to his commitment to integrating mainstream and special needs students, fostering an inclusive training environment. Under his guidance, students have achieved international acclaim, with numerous victories in global competitions, including gold at international and world events.

Ben's competitive journey includes representing New Zealand at World Championships, excelling in patterns and power breaking.
