CAN School Holiday Programme

Keep creative minds busy these school holidays with Creative Arts Napier's fun and engaging art workshops for children. From painting and sculpture to crafting, bookbinding and collaborative art projects, our programme offers a range of hands-on creative experiences designed to inspire imagination, build confidence and encourage artistic exploration. All workshops are led by experienced tutors in a friendly and supportive environment.

Workshop Schedule

Playdate with Foam Clay (Ages 5+)
Tuesday 29 September, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Create imaginative sculptures using colourful foam clay. Perfect for young makers who enjoy hands-on creativity.

Pen & Watercolour (Ages 8+)
Tuesday 29 September, 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Turn simple circles and lines into colourful patterned artworks using pen and watercolour.

Paint It & Pass It (Ages 7+)
Thursday 1 October, 10.00am to 1.00pm
A collaborative painting workshop where children add to each other's canvases before taking home a unique shared creation.

Afternoon of Art (Ages 5+)
Thursday 1 October, 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Explore a range of art materials and techniques while creating original artworks in a relaxed, creative setting.

Mini Book Binding (Ages 7+)
Friday 2 October, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Design, stitch and decorate a miniature handmade book. A wonderful workshop for creative children who love drawing, writing and making.

Beaded Pot Plants (Ages 7+)
Friday 2 October, 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Create a colourful beaded plant using wire and beads to form flowers, leaves and stems in a miniature pot.

Mini Book Binding and Beaded Pot Plants are presented in collaboration with Amy Lou Creative.

Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
