Journaling has been proven to better people's mental and physical wellbeing.


It is a wonderful tool to use, in whatever capacity you choose. There are many different forms of journaling, but there are no rules. There are no such things as spelling mistakes, and you don’t have to worry about grammar.


You get to dictate what you say, how you say it, and not everyone has to see it.  How cool is that?

 

Who can attend the classes?

Any New Zealand citizen or resident who is not attending a course of study with another institute.

 

What can people expect when attending your Journaling class?

Activities, fun, writing practice, lots of discussion, and a few biscuits.


In previous classes people have chosen to share with the group what they have written and they have  been surprised at how creative, poetic and interesting their journal entries have been.

 

What are the benefits people can experience?

Meet new people, learn a new skill, share some information (as much or as little as you like), feel motivated to get some of your stories down on paper, have a laugh.


Feel less stressed, and have a more positive mindset.

 

The journal is provided. Please bring a sense of humour and an open mind!
