National Aquarium July School Holiday Programme

Journey though oceans of discovery.

We will have five new daily topics where your budding scientist can discover all about the different marine habitats - from the deep to the kelp forests, and the coasts!

Get ready to make a splash and immerse yourself in a world of excitement and discovery.

Monday - The Deep: Embark on a thrilling journey to the depths of our world's oceans, as we dive deep and discover new, mysterious species.

Tuesday - The Open Ocean: Dive into the fascinating world of the open ocean, where majestic whales, and fast swimming shoals of fish live in a vast environment.

Wednesday - The Kelp Forests: Make the most of our Forests of the Sea exhibition and glide through the massive kelp forests towering upwards, or float with microscopic algae, learn how these superpowered plants help us survive on earth every day.

Thursday - The Reef: Whether you're exploring the warm waters of the tropics, or braving the colder climates, these underwater reef ecosystems are hubs of biodiversity waiting to be discovered.

Friday - The Coasts: Could you survive the changing of the tides and the power of the waves? How do coastal species do it? Spend the day discovering how.
