Laughter Medicine
Laughter medicine for body, mind & soul
Laughter Medicine Session | Sunday 24th November | 10-11 AM** Are you ready to tap into the power of laughter and experience how it can quite literally serve as medicine for the mind, body, and soul?
Join me for an hour of *Laughter Medicine*, a structured and supportive session where we will explore the healing potential of laughter. Laughter has been shown through scientific research to offer numerous benefits:
๐ **Reduces stress** by lowering cortisol levels ๐ **Boosts mood** through the release of endorphins, our body's natural feel-good chemicals ๐ **Enhances immune function** by increasing infection-fighting antibodies ๐ **Improves cardiovascular health** by increasing blood flow and oxygen ๐ **Promotes social bonding and connection**, reducing feelings of isolation ๐ **Supports mental well-being** by reducing anxiety and depression symptoms
As a qualified Laughter Leader, trained in 2020, I have been offering Laughter Medicine at festivals and events, guiding people through this playful and profound practice. During this session, I'll facilitate a range of gentle techniques to help you connect with your inner laughter in a brave and supportive environment.
I understand that for some, laughter sessions may feel intimidating, confronting, or even unconventional. Rest assured, you won't be forced into anything, and everything is done at your own pace. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as feels comfortable to you.
Laughter is a powerful tool for healing, and this session is designed to make space for you to give it a tryโwithout judgment or pressure. Come along bring a friend, with an open mind, tap into the joy of laughter, and let it work its magic on your body and spirit.
