CAN After School Art Club

Term 4: Thursdays 3.15 – 4.45pm

Thanks to Napier City Creative Communities NZ we are able to offer Term 4 to families at only $80 per child for the 8 sessions!

The perfect afterschool workshop for your young creatives, CAN’s new After School Art Club with tutor Dallas Wilcox is set to be a varied and inspiring space. Her lesson and creative project plan for this term includes charcoal self portraits, “stained glass” watercolor paintings through to gradient landscape gouache paintings. The classes are mostly practical with short theory lessons and demonstrations to bring focus to the space each week.

Ideal for young creatives aged 8 – 13, places are limited!

Tutor Dallas Wilcox is a colourful painter and illustrator who is currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Practice at EIT’s IDEASchool. Growing up with a talented and creative grandmother, mum, and older sister, Dallas began drawing as soon as she was able to hold a pencil, and wants to use the skills she’s gained over the years to help others find the joy in creating art. She wants to ensure kids of all backgrounds and skill levels can learn and explore their individual creativity in a safe and friendly environment free from judgement.
